Frequently Asked Questions
Do I Need to be Clean-shaven to attend?
Anyone wearing tight-fitting RPE should be clean-shaven where the mask seals to the skin, as stubble or facial hair can create a barrier and reduce its effectiveness. However, since this is a training course, our focus is on ensuring you feel comfortable and confident in conducting a Face Fit Test. Being clean-shaven is not a requirement for attendance.
Do I Need to Bring Anything With me?
No, we provide all the training materials and Face Fit Test Kits for training purposes. However, if you don’t already have a kit, you’ll need to order one to conduct your own testing after completing the course. All we ask for are enthusiastic and willing learners!
Can I book multiple delegates?
Yes. You can book as many delegates as you need, subject to course availability. Our open courses are ideal for individuals and small groups, but if you have several people to train, it may work out more cost-effective for us to deliver the training at your premises. Contact us with your requirements and we'll be happy to provide a no-obligation quotation.
What Happens After Completing the Course?
Once you've successfully completed the course, you'll receive a Certificate of Completion confirming your training. You'll have the knowledge and practical skills to carry out qualitative face fit testing within your organisation, in accordance with your employer's procedures and current HSE guidance.
We're always on hand to provide ongoing support, Face Fit Test Kits and consumables. We also offer Mask Mate, our optional digital guidance app, which helps trained testers follow the correct testing process and produce professional digital certificates.
